House in Alvide is a project developed long ago for a pre-existing construction where the owners where not able to add more impermeabilized area. The conversion of the existing building into something rather different and contemporary where one could be more connected to the landscape was our main aim. The structure of the house was kept as well as the main distribution. A new staircase was done to connect with the master’s bedroom on the top floor. The steep slope didn’t allow such opened space around the house. This intervention was never accomplished.
