The “House in Muda” is a project developed during my collaboration with the JAPFP- Arquitectos A emphasis was given to passive bioclimatic characteristics. The use of wooden sliding screens placed far from the glass doors filter the sunlight and refresh air inside these corridors. Temperature inside is strongly reduced and air-conditioning isn’t necessary allowing a better energetic efficiency. The 4 double sized panels slide on separated rails bringing a new dynamic to the house, and allow to have the main glass surface of the living room totally opened towards the pine woods landscape.
