This project consists on the renovation and enlargement of an old stone house that has been abandoned for more than 30 years. Located on the highest area of the village, the owner wanted to create a new bedroom on an upper floor benefiting from the spectacular view over the landscape, and also wanted to have a separate area where he could work and receive clients without allowing them to enter the house itself. The areas that were enlarged have a contemporary approach and image. The overall “look” reflects the respect for the traditional structure and at the same time creates a new identity to the whole construction always sticking to traditional materials.
