The Houses in Rote is a project with a traditional approach regarding local architecture. Our client wanted to have a small touristic unit capable of hosting different groups within a very small space. This type of tourism is very specific as people travel to this spot basically due to its main attraction, the surf. For this reason it was compulsory that all spaces benefit from the sea view with special emphasis for the angle where the wave breaks. The project is divided in various platforms at different heights which are adapted to the existing topography. Construction will be done with traditional materials.
