This intervention consists on the rehabilitation of an existing residential unit. The contextualization of the various volumes in order to achieve a traditional “Algarve” image was the programs main goal. The traditional materials added to the existing buildings and the prevalence of white architectural elements with different textures and densities allows to have a relaxed “atmosphere” and links all outside spaces. The structure that holds the brick grit separated from the main volume creates a natural light screen and is separated from the main volume.
